Thesis on the subject "Development of an integrated approach for the management of degraded soils, from functional diagnosis to the implementation of solutions".
This thesis will primarily aim to test in real situations, different existing approaches to the evaluation of soil functions (e.g. Soilval, Record, Destisol, Supra, Landmark) based on the observation, analysis and measurement of soil and biological indicators. Secondly, this diagnostic stage will be confronted with scenarios of future land uses to optimize the choice of management methods in relation to the trajectory and expected kinetics. The third part of the thesis will aim to test ecological engineering approaches, either by monitoring experiments in real conditions or by setting up experiments under controlled conditions at nested spatial scales. Finally, the doctoral research work will take the form of formalizing approaches to support the manager's decision-making (e.g. decision support tools, flowchart).
