My activities mainly focus on terrestrial environments pollution by microplastics, by trace metals, and by organic pollutants (PAHs, total hydrocarbons), on French territory. They aim to improve current state of knowledge regarding pollution levels of soils and organic fertilisers for spreading, in order to predict plastic accumulation in agricultural lands, to check pollutant transfert from soil to crops to assess health risk of urban agriculture projects, and to propose relevant land uses recommendations. Meanwhile, I led a working group for the optimisation and validation of an automated pollution’s data dumping protocol to national databases (BDSolU, BAPPET, BAPPOP), as part of ALIMAUP project (ADEME). This project aimed to ease and to promote the valorisation of urban soils and vegetables pollution data kept, among other things, by design offices.

Since I joined the LSE’s team, my work also focuses on the development of a tool for the multi-scale evaluation of soils (agricultural, forest, urban) health across Europe, through BENCHMARKS project.
